Fire Extinguishing Systems
Automatic Sprinkler Extinguishing Systems are systems that use water as an extinguishing agent and have the ability to detect and extinguish / control a fire outbreak, in its initial phase, automatically, that is, without the need for human intervention. They are constituted by an adequate reserve of extinguishing agent, in this case water, which is permanently connected to one or more fixed sprinkler networks. The water reserve is ensured through a private fire service deposit and a pumping station, both of which must comply with the applicable requirements of the Technical Regulation on Fire Safety in Buildings. Each system consists of a control and alarm valve (also called a command post) and a piping network with the appropriate accessories on which the sprinklers are installed.
